Five Self-Care Tips You Can Do TODAY

Self-care is important 365 days a year – but now more than ever, we need to find ways to take some time for ourselves, to ground and center ourselves, and to re-energize our minds and bodies. You may not have access to the BioCharger – but that doesn’t mean you don’t have access to the four energy types, or other self-care hacks while in quarantine.

Tip #1 – Get Outside

As everyone knows, the BioCharger produces four main energy types, Light, PEMFs, Voltage, and Frequencies and Harmonics.  Finding a secluded trail to hike (while maintaining social distancing, of course) or spending some time in your backyard will give you access to some beneficial light. In addition – you can always kick off your shoes and place your feet upon the grass, and practice what we like to call “grounding”; where we allow our body’s magnetic field to align with that of the earth.

Tip #2 – Make a homemade smoothie

A smoothie isn’t just an excellent source of vitamin C – a much-needed immune boost right now – but it’s also a little self-care beverage free from toxins and preservatives that you may find in store-bought brands.  Our favorite is a simple strawberry smoothie – add a cup of fresh berries, a cup of almond milk, some ice, and blend! (This is a kid-approved smoothie too – bonus points!)

Tip #3 – Play it Hot & Cold

Give yourself the relaxation and alone time you deserve, and draw yourself a warm bath.  Use this time to practice your mindfulness exercises, meditations, or breathing techniques.  Finish it up with a cold shower – a Wim Hof favorite – for that exhilarating boost you need!

Tip #4 – Be still

Take five minutes to DISCONNECT.  Leave your phone in the other room, turn off ALL electronics, and allow yourself to be fully present.  You can do this inside or outdoors – but the primary objective is to clear your mind, and your body, of stimulants and distractions.  This time can mean all the difference in re-grounding yourself.

Tip #5 – Reach out

Reach out to a friend you haven’t spoken to in a while. The old saying “A problem shared is a problem cut in half” has always been true for us – so take this time to connect with an old friend – bounce feelings and ideas off each other – and then let it go. Remind yourself you’re not alone in this isolation – even if you’re “alone” in your home.
