How to reset your BioCharger

Frozen BioCharger screen? Here’s how to do a reset!

Sometimes you may turn on your BioCharger and the screen lights up, but the blue boxes don’t appear. Or maybe you try to use the stylus to click on a recipe, or anything else, and nothing happens — the screen is frozen. Don’t panic, there is a simple solution to this! Here are the steps to performing a reset in the case of an unresponsive screen:

1. Turn off the BioCharger with the switch on the back of the base and wait until the screen is completely black
2. You will need the little silver reset tool that came in the white accessories box with your BioCharger, or a paperclip will also suffice
3. Insert the tool into the small hole that is right below the BioCharger screen, hold it in for 5 seconds, and then remove
4. Power on the BioCharger with the switch on the back pressed all the way down on the dash side
5. Your BioCharger should start up as it normally does, with the screen lighting up and the penguin appearing (fun fact: his name is Tux and he is the mascot of Linux), this is a good sign that the screen is properly working again
6. Be patient! It usually takes a couple of minutes to completely start up and for you to see the blue boxes again
7. Once the main menu of blue boxes are available, use the stylus to select your username box, browse, and choose your desired recipe to start
8. If everything works as it should and you can click on things on the screen again, then your reset was successful! If the issue persists, please contact support at support@biocharger.com or +1 (855) 550-7740
